Facility & Safety — Where Your Procedure Happens
Beautiful marketing does not keep patients safe. Credentials, accreditation, anesthesia standards, and emergency readiness do. Results vary; safety conversations are part of every consult.

Safety culture
What we emphasize before any operative plan
Candidacy gates
Medical history, medications, nicotine status, and realistic goals can pause or cancel a plan. Saying “not yet” is part of safety.
Volume & time limits
Contour goals never outrank safe fluid and operative-time judgment. Plans can be staged when appropriate.
Emergency readiness
Emergency readiness and protocols are reviewed at your consultation. Ask at your consultation where transfer would occur if escalation were ever needed.
Risks
Liposuction has real risks — we discuss them before you sign
A full consent conversation happens in person. Educational overview: Risks & safety
Bleeding, infection, contour irregularity, anesthesia reactions, blood clots, fluid shifts, and need for further procedures are among topics covered. This list is not complete. Your personal risk profile may include additional items.
FAQ
Facility questions
Is this an overnight stay?
Overnight needs are discussed at your consultation. Many liposuction plans are same-day discharge when medically appropriate, with a responsible adult at home.
Who is in the room besides the surgeon?
Your surgical team is introduced at your consultation. Ask for roles: anesthesia professional, circulating/scrub support, and recovery staffing.
How do I prepare medically?
Clearance, labs, and medication holds follow your written pre-op instructions. Bring an accurate medication list to consultation.
Next step
Ask every safety question you have
Bring your list. A good consultation has time for facility, anesthesia, and emergency-protocol questions — not only before-and-after photos.
